How To Glow Up In 1 Month – 30 Day Glowing Up Challenge
Day One – Drink More Water
Many people don’t drink enough water.
The lack of water in the body can lead to dry skin, dark circles under the eyes, and other unwanted side effects.
Drinking more water can help you look good and feel better.
The benefits of drinking more water are surprisingly great!
Water is one of the best beauty secrets.
It helps to reduce puffiness in your eyes, it can help you lose weight, it helps with digestion, and much more!
If you’re struggling to increase your water intake, I recommend this motivational water bottle or this stainless steel one.
Day Two – Get In Your Steps
Walking is one of the best ways to stay healthy.
It helps strengthen your muscles, improve your mood, and it can even help you lose weight.
It is a misconception that walking is not as effective as other forms of exercise.
Walking is an effective form of exercise because it does not require any equipment or special skills.
You can walk anywhere and anytime – in the park, on the beach, or even in your neighborhood.
Ideally, you should be getting in 10,000 steps a day.
Before you start monitoring your daily steps, download the SweatCoin app.
It is a free pedometer app that pays you for every step you take.
Seriously, I earn almost $100 a month just from having it track my steps!
Day Three: Try A New Hairstyle
Styling your hair a different way can definitely help bring out your good qualities.
Currently, the Dyson Airwrap has been going viral all over social media!
It can be a little pricey, so if it is not in your price range then try out either the CHI Spin & Curl or the Revlon Volumizer Brush.
Day Four: Amp Up Your Skincare Routine
Skincare is important and it’s not just about washing your face.
The skin is the largest organ in the human body which helps us regulate temperature, excrete waste, and protect us from germs.
A skincare routine should be followed daily to keep your skin healthy and looking great.
Some of the most important parts of a skincare routine are cleansing, toning, moisturizing, and exfoliating.
Cleansing removes dirt and oil while toning balances pH levels in the skin.
Moisturizing locks in moisture to keep your skin hydrated while exfoliating removes dead cells that can clog pores and cause breakouts.
Try out the Night Out Skin Kit, it has so many great products for your face!
There are many different types of products for skin care such as lotions, creams, serums, masks, etc., which all have their own benefits.
Use a facial massager, not only does it unclog pores and keep wrinkles at bay, but it helps your skin absorb moisturizers and serums.
Lastly, don’t forget the sunscreen!
I use this tinted sunscreen daily, it keeps my skin looking great and it is under $20!
Day Five: Go To Bed Earlier
A lot of people don’t get enough sleep and it has a negative impact on their beauty routine.
The skin gets dry and wrinkly, the hair gets brittle, the nails are brittle, and the immune system is weakened.
A good night’s sleep can help prevent these problems.
The body repairs itself while sleeping. It also releases hormones that are important for hair growth, skin health, and other aspects of beauty.
If you like streaming your favorite show or scrolling through your phone before bed, then wear blue light glasses.
If you have trouble falling asleep, try some melatonin.
There are plenty of melatonin options to help you sleep from gummies to Epsom salt bubble baths!
Day Six: Wake Up Happy
Remember, the happiest girls are the prettiest girls!
If you wake up grumpy then change your routine.
Invest in a soft mattress pad to help you get a better night’s sleep.
Use a humidifier on your nightstand.
Not only will it help you wake up refreshed, being able to breathe better, but your face will have a moisturized healthy glow.
If you still wake up moody, then try out The Happy Light, it stimulates hormones in our body that influence our general well-being!
Day Seven: Do Something That Makes You Smarter
A glow-up challenge should work on way more than your looks!
Intelligence is attractive.
Do something every day that works your brain.
Grab this fun journal full of mental exercises that will sharpen your intellect and blaze new neural pathways every single day.
Day Eight: Go On A Run
Time to speed things up!
Going on a run out in nature will make you feel so rejuvenated and is a perfect way to start your day!
Don’t have a place to run or do you live near a rainy climate?
This is my favorite treadmill that I use to get my daily steps in when the weather doesn’t let me go outside.
Don’t forget to add some comfortable ankle/wrist weights for extra resistance.
Day Nine: Try A Hair Mask
When it comes to hair care, the most important thing is to make sure that your hair is healthy and shiny.
Hair masks are a very easy yet great way to rejuvenate your hair!
If you are looking for a healthy hair mask, I recommend one with keratin because it not only strengthens your hair but it adds shine!
Day Ten: Get A Massage
You’ve made it to Day 10 of the 30-day glow-up challenge!
Time to relax and get a massage.
You can find plenty of Groupons for discount massages at your local spa.
If you would rather not get a professional massage, then there are plenty of amazing portable massagers to choose from!
Day Eleven: Take A Social Media Break
The term social media detox has been around for a while.
It usually refers to a break from the online world, but it can also refer to a break from any form of social media.
Some people take breaks from social media because they feel like they are wasting time on it and others take breaks because they want to focus on things that are more important in their life.
Take this time to focus on your glow-up challenge and don’t worry about keeping up social media.
If you feel walking away from your social accounts may be difficult, then use these tips on how to take a social media break.
Day Twelve: Read A Self-Improvement Book
Self-improvement books are books that focus on teaching people how to better themselves.
They often offer advice on how to improve one’s life, relationships, career, and health.
What do you feel you need to improve?
One I highly recommend is a decision-making journal.

Day Thirteen: Practice Yoga
Yoga is a practice that has been around for centuries.
It’s a form of exercise that can help with mental and physical wellness.
The benefits of yoga are well documented and have been proven to have a wide range of benefits – from improving sleep to reducing stress, to alleviating chronic pain.
Yoga is also a great way to increase flexibility and balance as well as increase muscle strength.
I use and highly recommend a yoga instructional mat.
Day Fourteen: Try New Smoothie Recipes
I love smoothies!
Smoothies are a great way to get your daily fruit and veggie intake.
They are also a great way to get all the nutrients you need in one drink.
Smoothies are easy to make, and they can be made in many different ways.
The benefits of smoothies are endless.
They are good for the environment, they taste good, they’re healthy, and they’re convenient!
Use an on-the-go blender and try one of these 150 recipes.
Day Fifteen: Pamper Your Feet
Visit a local spa or even set up an at-home pedicure for yourself!
I find that no at-home pedicure is complete without a foot bath massager.
Day Sixteen: Organize Your Space
Dedicate day two or even just a tiny portion of your day to clean your space!
The best way to start this is by organizing your bedroom.
By doing this, you are letting go of old energy and are beginning to welcome fresh, new energy into your life!
Use this bedroom declutter checklist to help you out.
Day Seventeen: Declutter Your Phone
We all need an electronic refresh.
Rather it’s deleting unused apps or spam texts messages.
Or even delete pictures with fake people… It is time to get rid of the old and make room for the new!
Download the FREE app Cozi to help you get organized.
Day Eighteen: Brighten Your Smile
If you haven’t been keeping up with your dental appointments, now is the time to start.
Get a new toothbrush. My dental hygienist recommends this one to me and I love it.
Don’t forget to floss daily.
If you want, you can even brighten your smile with some teeth whitening strips.
Don’t forget about your lips!
Use a good lip scrub and moisturize your lips every day.
Day Nineteen: Gut Health
You can’t really achieve a full glow-up if you are constantly dealing with gut issues like bloating.
Gut health is a crucial part of your overall well-being.
The gut is responsible for the absorption of nutrients from food and water, and it produces hormones to regulate digestion.
It also protects against disease by producing antibodies.
So if you regularly suffer from bloating, gas, or just any uncomfortable gut issues then it’s time to find out what the problem is.
Try a food sensitivity test to see what foods your body has a difficult time digesting.
I recommend EverlyWell, they are highly rated and if you use this link you can get 25% off.
Day Twenty: Revamp Your Wardrobe
The goal of assessing your wardrobe is to determine if the items in it reflect the kind of person you want to be.
For example, if you want to be seen as fashionable, then it’s important that all of your clothing choices are stylish and current.
Your wardrobe is a reflection of your style.
It can be a snapshot of your personality and what you like to wear.
So if you don’t like the way your wardrobe looks, it might be time to rethink the style that you have been going for.
First, it’s time to declutter your clothes with a closet cleanout.

Day Twenty-Two: Start A Gratitude Journal

It can improve your physical and mental health, as well as your relationships.
Writing in a gratitude journal is a simple way to cultivate gratitude.
You can start by writing three things you are grateful for every day.
Day Twenty-Three: Make A Motivational Playlist
Take some time today to sit down and create a motivational playlist, or multiple playlists for yourself.
These playlists should include your favorite music to exercise to, songs that make you feel productive, or even podcasts that motivate you!
Day Twenty-Four: Try A New Make-Up Look
I think we all underestimate the power of makeup sometimes.
Just a touch of makeup is sometimes all we need in order to have a noticeable transformation!
Much like the clothes we wear, makeup is a form of expression.
It can show our personality or mood.
It can also help us feel better about ourselves
Day Twenty-Five: Create A Nighttime Routine
One thing my mother always taught me was to remove my makeup before bed.
This has been a life-saver for my skin.
If you don’t already have a nighttime routine, it’s time to make one.
Before going to bed is the perfect time to add some drying serum to any pimples, a touch of retinol to keep your face exfoliated, and always moisturize your face.
Day Twenty-Six: Use A Satin Pillow Case
We all know that our sleep is important for our health. That is why many people choose to sleep on a satin pillowcase.
The benefits of using a satin pillowcase are:
– Better quality of sleep
– Reduce wrinkles and fine lines
– Prevent acne and skin breakouts
– Protect hair from breakage and frizziness
Day Twenty-Seven: Get Rid Of The Toxic
Cutting toxic people and habits is hard, but it’s important to do.
We’re all guilty of having toxic friends or habits that we know are bad for us, but it can be difficult to get rid of them.
The first step is to identify what you want to cut off. A good way to do this is by writing down the benefits of cutting off this person or habit.
Then, write down the negative aspects of that person or habit.
Next, think about how this person or habit affects your life on a daily basis and in the long term.
This will help you make a decision about whether you should cut them off.
Day Twenty-Eight: Organize Your Life
If you don’t already have a daily planner, then it’s time to get one.
Make of list or download some organizational list to make life easier.
If you have a place for everything, you will be able to find things easily and quickly.
It will also save you time and energy.
Don’t forget to write down your life goals list to help keep you accountable!
